Thanks for posting this Harold. I had not heard from Chuck in years. I don't have any good stories about Chuck but I remember him being on several of our GFI's and providing a lot of GREAT info about flying. He was a GREAT guy and always kept the GFI's interesting when he was on one.

Ted, I used to see strong recommendation to install in a different directory, but I don't see that in the current documentation. Mike I finally found it in an AVSIM P3D Guide that was suppose to be a "living" (i.e. occasionally updated) document. So far I can't find it anywhere on the AVS...

Now that I've finally :lol: upgraded to Win10 I'm starting to reload my apps. I seem to remember seeing somewhere that you should not load your sim app (in this case P3Dv4) into the Windows Programs folder but into a folder of it's own due to possible permission issues. My upgrade went a lot smoother than I expected. I am now back "in the office" and available. I have not reinstalled P3D yet so it may be a few more days before I'm able to fly but I'm reviewing/approving FREQ's & FREP's now.
