Re: Commander Checkride...
Kinda of funny/crazy but my family has quite a few dinner conversations about escape plans from Zombies. For instance, if we were home what would we do, would we leave or fortify the home. Would we head north or south. What would we take with us. We all have seen many Zombie movies and they are fun ...

Re: Commander Checkride...
Being up in an airplane is not the best place to be during a Zombie apocalypse. First, review the rules of Zombieland. Rules that specifically apply here are Cardio, Double Tab, When In Doubt Know Your Way Out, Check The Back Seat, and Swiss Army Knife. If you can, secure the pilot area and lock the...

Re: Wanted: Used AA airframe
I would like the complete 767. I want a plane with a virtual cockpit. Talk about a great place to party! In flight movies, drinks, better food. And you don't have to worry about hitting the ground too hard. I don't suppose they would sell one for $49.

Re: 20 years of muscle memory down the drain
Hi Mike,
Don't worry about the initial shock. X-Plane is very configurable and I was able to map most of my muscle memory from FSX to X-Plane. One of the best parts about X-Plane is that it is being updated. And more add-on's are available everyday.

Re: Some pics from the "Iron Butt" Experience
Those are great shots and very nice graphics. Are the graphics and scenery (especially the night shots/lighting) standard with X-Plane or do you have an add-on like Orbx to add scenery definition? Those are standard with X-Plane. X-Plane automatically populates the roads with cars and trucks. And t...

Re: Some pics from the "Iron Butt" Experience
Thanks guys for the comments. I'm happy with xplane. There were some things to learn but I think the overall graphics are wonderful. Also, I have a couple of add-ons. 777-Worldliner_Professional, SkyMaxxPro_3.0, SoundMaxx, World Traffic2.

Some pics from the "Iron Butt" Experience
I have flown quite a bit lately as I just brought a new system and moved the graphics a little higher with X-Plane.
