This is the news that I have read today:
you're allowed to cross all runways/taxiways that your taxi route intercepts except for the assigned runway.
I think, in the future, it will be added to our phraseology in VATSIM.

It has always been that way. It's implied that you have clearance to cross all runways along your taxi route unless the controller specifically tells you to hold short. At least that's how it was when I first started flying online and read all the VATSIM literature.
Edit: After actually reading the policy I udnerstand now. LOL They will start issuing explicit runway crossing clearances when giving taxi instructions. I agree, this will likely be changed in VATSIM policy also. Good find!!!
