VATSIM Pilot ratings

Has anyone heard anything regarding VATSIM Pilot Ratings and when/if it will become operational? I believe VATCAN already implements this strucure. The VATSIM Pilot Resource center dosn't list anything specifically. There are some threads out there claiming that it will be operational 2009/2010. Just curious, sounds like it could introduce some good training i.e written tests etc.

Nice to know. I'm trying to get signed up for a checkride tomorrow. Will let you guys know how it goes...
Edit: I just got confirmation that my CR is officially set up for 11:00/15:00Z tomorrow. Wish me luck!!!

I had to reschedule. I have all my charts ready, will probably take it this weekend.
