Logan, Well it sounds like you have a host of problems and reading what you had done I know probably what is your problem. I am quite sure you taxing your system and taking it to the max.

You did not tell us what your system is. Window version, Memory, cpu speed. Do you use a laptop or a desktop PC. From reading that you get the message to report errors tells me you have systems running on the computer which could probably turned off while using the FSimulators.
What is the free RAM and the speed when using FSX.
The task manager will tell you instantly what you have or have not turned on and how much system resources you have left.

FSX and Vatsim coupled with FSINN are killers for the memory and CPU of your computer without proper management of the system resources.

When flying on VATSIM is FSX tuned down to some minimums for smoother operation? How many programs are running in the background of your computer that you don't know.

The one item that has saved my crashes to desktop for some time now is the UIAutomationcore.dll copied to the FSX root directory. And I have switched back to Squawkbox, even though the AI airplanes are lousy.

Have you tried starting the FSX with a blank FSX.CFG ?

The AVSIM forum has a good discussion on running your computer and FSX.
I know now you will have questions on how to do all. There has been lots of discussion on our own forum about these same problems and fixes already. Research.

Good luck.
