I did a go-around at KDEN once on a stormy day. United has ATC on the in flight audio sometimes. In this case, I heard the wind shear warning come in, and then we flew down the runway line at several thousand feet before going around.

Of all the airports I regularly fly into Denver is my least favorite. I will take Jackson Hole in blinding snow, SFO fog so thick you can't see a hand or the chaos that is ORD 365 days a year over dealing with the weather in Denver.

Denver.... worst weather ever!
