VFR Tour #31 T90 Chambers County-Winnie Stowell Airport- 2R1 Le Maire Memorial Airport

Finally get to flying through my native Louisiana though at the wrong end of the state. Still, there's an advantage to being in South Louisiana - even the red beans and rice served out of the FBO kitchen is gourmet fare! You better believe I got some, too!!!
Getting ready to take the runway and leave Texas.
Over Calcasieu Lake south of Lake Charles, LA.
South of the flight path you can see part of the intracoastal waterway.
Found the airport and landed. Headed inside for some GOOD authentic creole red beans and rice.
Flew this and several of the last shorter legs using my VR goggles. What a difference VR makes!
